Hello There, 

How many of you have been asked: "How's your diet going?"

The phrase capable of zapping the life out of even the liveliest of us… How is my diet going? well not very well obviously if you have to ask!

Lets first of all define a “Diet”


Pronunciation: (Die Hurt)

To restrict oneself to small amounts or special kinds of food in order to lose weight.

"I began dieting again"

Im fading just reading that! so many negative words…. For me the word Diet unless used to talk about how a person, animal or community habitually eats is a negative word!

If you describe the current plan, program or method that you are following to your friends and family as a diet you have just told your self that your going to fail at it. A diet is a word that says “Im doing this for the short term, I can't really be bothered but I feel I should lose a few pounds because my friend has”

It’s time we stopped diets and starting living better, You don't have to restrict yourself or eat small amounts you just have to make sure you eat the right things and exercises correctly to enable you to get away with eating the wrong things from time to time.

Remember what your training for…You want to get leaner, look better and feel more confident right? So why are you putting so much pressure on yourself?

The first rule of getting your body in shape and healthy is to cut down stress. You will find it difficult to burn fat if your stress levels are through the roof, you have enough stress at work why add more by giving yourself a ridiculously unrealistic plan to follow?

Healthy bodies burn fat more efficiently than unhealthy ones this is a fact so eliminating unnecessary stress is vital to achieving that healthy state.

The other side of that coin is looking for the secret to fat loss that doesn't exist, There is one way to get a healthy body and it requires a little bit of effort on your part. You have to be prepared to get off your sofa and sweat a little, but that being said you don't have to lose your life to working out and eating right.

Im here to tell you that 3 x 30 minute workouts per week and 3 simple meals per day are all you need. These 30 minute workouts should be enough to make you feel the burn but working to your intensity not anyone else, and the meals don't have to be restricted either just homemade from good quality ingredients that are packed full of nutrients.

My recipes take no longer than 15-20 minutes to make and are pretty awesome if I say so myself.

What I want you to take from this article is that “Diets” don't work, there isn't a secret, you do need to make a few lifestyle changes…But It doesn't have to take over your life or become a chore.

Keep it simple, make it fun, don't stress and go get healthy happy.
